  The location is ideal and very close to many places of interest.

  The only thing is that there was no fridge. There was a mini bar but it was not to be used by customers. It had some drinks but even if you move the bottles, they are considered used. The problem is that we had kids that moved things around even if they didn't want them. However, everything else was great.

  We had three specific room requirements* all of which were met on a first-time, without quibble basis. Despite the hotel being centrally located, the immediate neighbourhood was very pleasant and quiet. The hotel has an air of tranquility about it and the staff are very service orientated. We would strongly commend this hotel to anyone looking for somewhere as a base to explore Toronto or for someone on a business trip. The hotel is quite obviously able to meet the requirements of many customer profiles. *Quiet, adjoining rooms near to the ground floor. (Bear in mind that we can criticise just as easily as praise but the latter has very much been earned by this Novotel.

  The location was convenient. Many neat restaurants around. We walked to ferries, shopping, stadium and CN needle.

  Parking per day was pricey at $22 and the internet in the lobby did not work well at all. It was extremely slow and froze repeatedly. That service was very frustrating.

  Great location, close to restaurants and bars. Within a reasonable walking distance to a lot of different things.

  Some updating is needed, older tvs and decor in some parts of the hotel. Our bathroom fan didn't work the entire weekend.

  The hotel was in an excellent location for visitng the city. We liked the hotel pool which we used every day - and were often the only users. We then went to St Lawrence market for breakfast - we dislike hotel breakfasts and need a good cup of coffee in the morning. The market is only 5 minutes from the hotel and is brilliant for food. Toronto has lots of good restaurants at reasonable prices. We loved the trip to the islands - avoided the crowds by going to Wards Island and eating a good lunch in the cafe. Niagara Falls are a must - though the town itself is incredibly tacky. We were shocked that the wineries there actually charge for tasting - but we are told that the wine is poor so perhaps that is the only way that they can get people to buy it.

  There was quite extensive building work going on which was quite noisy in the morning and because the front entrance was being renovated, we had to walk out through some very unpleasant and dusty atmosphere. We were surprised that the workers using pneumatic drills were not using ear protection, since the noise was deafening - this must do a lot of damage to their ears.

  It is an excellent hotel for many reasons, the foremost being the location, then the price was very reasonable for the quality of service and comfort. We will definitely stay again!!!!!

  Loved the location; we were in town for a concert at the acc, we walked directly across the street from the Novotel and had a wonderful dinner a The Keg and then it was only a 10 minute walk to the Air Canada Center. We will definitely stay again!

  Breakfast was good and room large and comfortable did not use facilities.Position was excellent but due to everything being closed and boarded up we were unable to utilize this position.

  Was there during the G20 and due to large presents of protesters outside our hotel with a large police presence we were very scared of things becoming very violent so as a result we checked out a day early and flew to Vancouver. Hotel did not give us or offer a refund or any compensation for day lost. Although we were notified the G20 was on we were assured that we would be quite safe.

  Location, and the Internet booking allowed a reasonable price. The two large beds made it all a good place.

  No fridges in the room was disappointing. The only fridge there was a mini bar already stocked and the removal of any items would resolt in charges - not a good welcome. I stay in hotels colse to 200 nights per year, and a hotel your style generally provides a lot of stuff re; bottled water and cookies for example - not charge. But all in all it was a good place to stay, and I would stay there again.

  Location to Union Station, Air Canada Center and St. Lawrence Market was very good.

  Had stayed at Novotel Esplanade years ago. Was disappointed with inferior appointments and upkeep (stained carpets, less-than-pristine bedding). More like an old motel than Downtown hotel. First time I ever felt a Booked.net was substandard.
